Start with definition in first sentence

Dear all,

Should we maybe start with a definition in the first sentence of the page of what sustainable consumption actually is?

Currently, it begins by mentioning several concepts without giving a short definition (see Oslo definition following later).

Yours,

Reductions in consumption levels in industrialized countries

Certainly reduction in consumption is key for industrial countries. But what is with the rich social classes in developing countries which have also a large ecological footprint and give examples for increasing middle classes in developing countries.

A big risk for the world are the increasing middle classes in large developing countries (India and China) if they follow unsustainable consumption patterns.

Certainly the reduction of consumption in industrial countries is a major task - especially to develop sustainable lifestyles which can become role models and desirable standard (also for the raising middle class everywhere).
