If you want to re-use material to which you hold the copyright, but which has already been used elsewhere, you need to demonstrate that you are in fact the copyright holder and that you release the material under the GDFL - see the procedure at WP:CP. If you do that, you will be able to freely re-use the material and no-one should bother you about the copyright. However other editors may still wish to alter or remove it if they feel it is not suitablle for wikipedia. Kappa23:22, 6 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
