Air-raid siren

An older version ended with the following sentence;

at the south end of the northbound platform's roof, a quaint, cold-war oddity—a disused air-raid siren.^[1]

A former editor told me along time ago that this was gone, so I have to ask; Was this taken down during the 2006 renovation, and would it be okay to mention it's prior existence in the article? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 12:34, 21 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
