Here are the problems I find with the links according to the external link guidelines (see WP:EL). #1 - general site about all Suzuki motorcycles linked to an article about a specific motorcycle - not a direct relationship between the article and link. #2-5: general links to websites that are first and foremost webforums (violation of Links to avoid #10 and 11). Forums pose problems for WP:OR and WP:RS. There may be specific deep links on some of these websites that contain encyclopedic information that is worth link and it could be worthwhile to discuss that here. Nposs 16:43, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

I apologize, I do not know the protocol for commenting about this - With all due respect, Maximum-Suzuki is far more than just a "webforum". It has reviews, events, etc, and is generally considered *the* noted resource in the Bandit community. It is considered by many to be an online mini-magazine due to the availability of "inside" information (from Suzuki) regarding the Bandit series. Its is free to use, is not a commercial site, and has no advertisers/banners, etc. Please consider the true nature of such a place before stereotypically labeling it just a "webforum". Thank you for your time and consideration.

It was not me who labeled it webforum. That was the existing label when I removed the links from the page. It seems like a fine website and one that surely serves its community very well. I just find that it does not the external link guidelines WP:EL. Reviewing the website, the bulk of the content is in the forum section. There are a few reviews, but these have to do more with motorcycle parts rather than the motorcycle itself. Nposs 14:38, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Regarding bandit.it (the Suzuki Bandit Italian Owners Group), I can say it's a website based on one of the several CMS with many sections, including the forum. It means the most of the contents are in the forum posts due to over 4000 subscriptions, but it doesn't mean it's just a webforum: there is other contents including news, technical contents, and various documents, some of them published in dedicated sections (like the Wiki) and some other in posts inside the techincal forums. It's the italian reference for all Suzuki Bandit's owners, it's not an organization of any kind, it's totally no-profit, it's banner-free, and it's on the web since year 2001. I don't know if linking it as a Suzuki Bandit resource could or couldn't be allowed, but consider it is a very useful resource of local (italian) Bandit owners. ganassa 14:00, 25 June 2007 (CET)

Engine Timelines

I have edited the general section to amend the engine origins, the 600cc Bandit engine came from the GSXF 600 & not the GSX-R 750.

1200 Bandit

You list 1996 as the first year of the 1200 version of the Bandit. The Suzukicycles.org site lists 1995 as the first year for the 600 & the 1200. General incorrectness

Lots of stuff incorrect in this article. Mainly that Bandits were produced starting 1995: the japanese Bandit 400 & 250 were first produced in 1989. Just noting this, my source is http://www.suzukicycles.org which seems to be the best reference on Suzuki motorcycles.
