It could include a note about the Suzuki sporadic group. I was once having coffee with a guy and mentioned Suzuki groups. He went to a computer and did a search but found only the sporadic group.

editThe infinite family attracted some publicity in 1960 because these groups were the first (and only) cases of finite non-abelian simple groups with order not divisible by 3.
