Criticism
editI know nothing about this person, so I really don't have any information to go on except this article and its citations. When I read the criticism section, the first sentence appeared to be unsourced opinion. There's nothing wrong with opinion, obviously, but I'd rather get it from a credible source. The middle section seemed to be about an incident instead of actual criticism of the subject. The last section just repeated results of an "online poll" which at best just informed us about the people who click buttons on the Newsday.com site. I'm not sure any of the criticism section should be retained in the current form. Coleca 05:26, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- This poll was actually part of a Newsday column, but Newsday recently started limiting its content so that it can only be accessed in full by Newsday print-edition subscribers and Cablevision/Optimum Online subscribers. The general public may not be able to access several sources listed at the bottom of this Wikipedia article. -- ajk1962f-wikipedia(at)yahoo.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.200.177.10 (talk) 18:40, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Testimonial
editAs a father of a nine-year-old boy who shares my passion for the Yankees, Suzyn Waldman is dear to us. Now reading her life story, we are even more enchanted with her. Go Suzyn!
Re: "Georgie Girl"
edit"Georgie Girl" is a phrase used in a deprecating way by sports columnist Bob Raissman of the New York Daily News. Raissman is well-known by Daily News readers for his depiction of Yankees announcers, Waldman included, as shills for team management (hence the "George" in "Georgie Girl," a reference to George Steinbrenner). As a Yankees fan since 1974, I recommend that the term "Georgie Girl" be removed from its current place in the article, or at least put into context as I've described. -- ajk1962f-wikipedia (at) yahoo.com
Georgie Girl edit
editIt's vandalism, and only Raissman and Sterling call her that. I just took it out. MattyFridays 04:28, 15 August 2006 (UTC) MattyFridays
Hi all, please make sure you reference negative statements. I just had to take out quite some text as it was not sourced. --Mbimmler 17:08, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Age and birthdate
editI looked her up on here because I was curious how old she was. I was perplexed that a person in the public eye for over 30 years does not have that info on here. She’s 75 btw, but why isn’t that info included here? 2600:1005:B04A:BEA6:610C:D783:A72F:6BD0 (talk) 18:16, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
