Fair use rationale for Image:Svedka.jpg
editImage:Svedka.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Relevancy
editHow much relevancy does Lindsay Lohan's one-time, failed selection of this product for a birthday really matter? I vote the section on her be removed from the article. Comments? Vayne (talk) 06:22, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
"Sped-ka?"
editWhy would Svedka be pronounced "sped-ka"? That's not a Swedish pronunciation, I should know. Svedka would be pronounced Svedka in Swedish. There's no accent in Sweden where V's become P's. It could have something to do with the fact that Svedka is not a Swedish word at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.209.157.214 (talk) 02:42, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Svedka to sponsor robotics contests at leading engineering universities.
editCMU, Cal Tech, MIT, Stanford - "sexiest robotics" competition - with prizes for undergraduates and graduate students - with Svedka as a sponsor.

editHi, thanks for helping.
I'd like to use this to improve the Svedka article.

Does anyone have know how I might get access to this?

editI think this article could use an image. I might take one of the bottle. If I did that, how could I go about adding it? Benjamin (talk) 07:47, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
Refimprove
editI'll remove the Refimprove tag unless anyone objects. Benjamin (talk) 06:06, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
Update tag
editI added the {{Update}} tag to the article, given the content of this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eFIaubn24E. The bottles no longer mention Sweden and states that Svedka is a US vodka. (The YouTube video also critizises the Wikipedia article for being bareboned compared to e.g. Smirnoff). - I personally know (bad source, I know) people who work at the plant that used to bottle Svedka in Sweden. They no longer do. The "official" about page also says that it is made in the USA. Sertion (talk) 17:05, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
