Idiomatic equivalent
editI've tried to add the idiomatic equivalent to Leck' mich am Arsch to the lead, which happens to be "F*ck you!" in English (note that only the term of "Swabian salute" is humorous, while the phrase itself is very profane), however a bot automatically reverted my edit. Saying, "He used the Swabian salute" is like saying, "He kindly told me he'd intend intercourse with me." --79.193.39.156 (talk) 11:18, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
really!?
edit"Perhaps the idea which is expressed in the literal meaning goes back to ancient magic conceptions that turning the bare bottom towards a danger or unwanted person (a demon, a witch, a curse) will work as a protection spell" --> people really need magic conceptions to explain why people show their ass to other people?? It's quite more believable that it was a very rude gesture at all times to show his ass to so. else, so just an universal insult. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.176.212.237 (talk) 16:49, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
