Astronomers

edit

Just clarifying that, in my edit summary where I removed a citation from an astrologer's horoscope claiming that Björk's swan dress had special meaning to her based on her Scorpio sun/moon/saturn, I mistakenly confused the word "Astronomer" for "Astrologer". I apologize to any scientists in the field of Astronomy, for confusing them with such a silly field of pseudoscience.

To me, "Swan dress of Björk" doesn't sound like the most natural English expression; something more like "Björk's swan dress" or "the Björk swan dress" sounds more natural to me. Does anyone else feel the same way or am I alone on this? I don't know if there's a hard-and-fast rule about when to use 's and when to use of (as a native English speaker I never had to learn a rule) but it just feels off somehow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acire93 (talkcontribs) 00:37, 11 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mention Vespertine?

edit

I think it might be a good idea to mention Bjork's album Vespertine in this article. It might fit in well after the speculation about whether this was just a publicity stunt or whether it had deeper meaning. Vespertine was released in 2001, under a year after her red carpet appearance, and swan imagery is very heavy in it. The cover art features a swan, and Bjork wears her swan dress often in photo shoots and on tour. There is also much speculation that the album is based on the Greek myth Leda and the Swan, which is discussed on the album page. To me, it seems that this dress was a foreshadowing for the album Vespertine, but I haven't found any sources for that. There are, however, many sources about how this dress is used in the album Vespertine and if approved I would love to contribute to this article by talking about the dress's (verifiable) links to Vespertine.
