Lead paragraph
editA recent edit by 222.186.101.77 introduced pipes and multiple wikilinks into the lead. I edited this to try to make it conform to (my understanding of) dab page style, but this was promptly reverted. I don't want to get into a revert war, and besides, I'm not sure exactly how the guidelines apply to the lead. I'm going to ask for guidance from WikiProject Disambiguation. - Here are some relevant references:
- MOS:DABENTRY: "Include exactly one navigable (blue) link to efficiently guide readers to the most relevant article for that use of the ambiguous term. Do not wikilink any other words in the line."
- WP:PIPING: "Subject to certain exceptions as listed below, piping or redirects should not be used in disambiguation pages."
- If there are specific reasons to deviate from these general principles, please discuss them here before making the change. YBG (talk) 14:30, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
