Swedish-Canadian talk page
editAh, well, newbie here, I wrote this article wholly. I can't really beautify the talk page as I have more to learn and get familiar with. Contributions are welcome and appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eric Straven (talk • contribs) 08:32, 19 June 2005 (UTC)
On an expanding definition rant
edit"Swedish-Canadian refers to a naturalized Canadian citizen hailing from Sweden or professing Swedish descent."
Then why are swedish citizens, born in Canada to swedish parents who lived for some years in Canada and then moved back to sweden listed as 'Swedish-canadian'?
'canadian born swede' yes, 'swedish-canadian' no.
Eric Lindros is swedish-canadian, while Robert Nilsson, Alexander Steen, Alexander Sundstrom are canadian born swedes. Hdw 20:24, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- The Alexander Sundstrom article says he is a Swedish-Canadian, even tho he might not be that then? Can someone fix that article if it is wrong? Kricke 22:55, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Almost everyone listed here is completely unknown in Sweden except for hockey nerds and the like. There must be people of Swedish ancestry with greater influence on Canadian life and history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.252.233.206 (talk) 02:43, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
