Kobe as First Notable Swingman

I have to say, I think of Kobe as a shooting guard, and more of a PG/SG than a swingman. I know he can play the SF, but so can a lot of people. I don't know if the term should be taken literally. Michael Jordan, for example could play the SF, but I hear his name and imagine the quintessential shooting guard. Louis waweru 10:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

LeBron?

I also take exception to LeBron being included as a swingman, because he's more often used secondarily as a PF than as a SG. Moreover, he can effectively play every position, and is shunted around the court due to Miami's often-unstructured positioning (it's not odd to see two shooting guards, two small forwards and a power forward on the court at any given time, or two pointguards, a forward and two centers, for example.) To me, LeBron does not qualify as a swingman, and I have never heard him be considered one. If there are no objections, I would like to remove his name from the list.
