I feel there could be a great deal said about the musical history of the Town Hall. It was the home of the Sydney Symphony until the Opera House opened in 1973, but the SSO continued to play at the Town Hall (and for all I know, may still do) after 1973. There were a large number of famous performances held there, and the list of notable performers would be very long. -- JackofOz (talk) 02:35, 14 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
