Talk:Symmetria iuridico Austriaca
Note
editI finished editing. There is little or almost no information on the Internet about this important book for history and law, so I could not prepare a thorough article about such an important book. Since the entire book is about Austrian rulers, the corresponding category, which the administrator deleted, would also be appropriate. The part of the article that was in the text is now only mentioned in external links. So I think the copyright tag can be removed by the admin concerned. Thank you.--Stebunik (talk) 21:31, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- On your first point, the Austrian category that was deleted did not actually exist, so there was no point in having a link to a nonexistent category on the page. Secondly, the copyvio-revdel tag at the top that I added is not to be removed until it is reviewed by an administrator, as it says on the tag wording. About copyright
editI did not know to what extent publication was prohibited, because it was not a long text or any new findings, but actually only information that is obvious from the book itself, which was published in 1674 and therefore not subject to copyright. As you can see, I agreed to the intervention and did not re-enter the same, but I added some other little things that are not related to the mentioned copyrighted rights. Therefore, please remove the above warning as it is no longer necessary. I understood it, but someone else won't edit it, I hope.--Stebunik (talk) 15:21, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
About “non-existent category” and notes
editI am very surprised that someone deleted the "Non-existent category" I think, that was “Rulers of Austria”. Why am I surprised? Because I really didn't find the category Category:Rulers of Austria "Austrian rulers" on the English Wikipedia and Wikimedia, I looked for, although there are several articles on Wikipedia and articles or pictures on Wikimedia related to this field, and it would be appropriate to add this category, which is still "non-existent" for reasons unknown to me so far. If we can have more articles on Wikipedia that deal with this topic, I think this category would be very relevant. In the article "List of rulers of Austria" we have the category "Monarch of Austria" - Category:Monarchs of Austria, but the article does not only deal with kings and emperors, but with knights and presidents too. The article "Felix Austria" also lacks this category, as well as "A.E.I.O.U." and more similar articles. If other countries have – e.g. Italy, Spain, France - as well as small Denmark or Sweden, Croatia or Czech - a similar category, I don't think there is any obstacle (apart from anti-Austrian prejudices?) to insert this category into Wikipedia and Wikimedia, which would also be very useful in the article "Symmetria iuridico Austriaca", which deals with this very topic. Therefore, I would ask whoever deleted this category to return it.
As for the notes, there is one given that voids the source, but it is the book itself that is discussed. There is also a whole article about it, which is comparatively very short. Everything else is mentioned in External links, where the reader can easily find what else he is interested in about this venerable book, which only I, and only this year 2024, put on Wikipedia.--Stebunik (talk) 15:21, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
Notes and sources
editI have to admit that I did a lot of searching on Wikipedia for sources on this book, and there is hardly anything worth mentioning. No information about the author at all. So should I write an article without sources and research the book (?), which again would be wrong because it would be original research. That's why I think that one note is quite enough: the reader can find the other one in External links or on Wikimedia, where I sent whole book.--Stebunik (talk) 19:01, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
