Convention: Name the article in its most common form, adding the composer's surname in parentheses after it if more than one piece has that title. For example, War Requiem, Violin Concerto (Berg), Symphony No. 6 (Mahler). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.48.181.238 (talk) 22:28, 16 January 2004 (UTC)

The various tags that now appear in the text are mine (September 2nd 2008). I feel that the general description of the piece is quite poor, and the comparisons to Tchaikovsky and Brahms are stereotypical, misleading and not based on analysis or knowledge of the score. Furthermore, to suggest that Tchaikovsky is known for his "use of light brass" is ridiculous. Tchaikovsky uses heavy brass, as can be witnessed in any of the last 3 symphomies, where the full brass section often dominates the texture, playing all out ffff or more.
I will leave the text of the main article alone for now, in case the original author wants to return to it. If it stays the way it is for more than a week, I will consider a heavy edit.
