A strange article
editSyntactic methods for what? The original author seemed to mean 'syntactic methods for program verification', but he had an extremely specific idea, one that might have been written up in a research paper of his own. I don't think he is referring to any actual sub-field that would be recognized by other software engineers. Though DGG was helpful in trying to fix it up, I'm afraid this is putting lipstick on a pig. AfD might be kinder. The two external links, while plausible, don't have much to do with the article as currently written. EdJohnston 01:51, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
