SDF and ISIS
editFirstly, The Nour al-Din Zenki Movement is actively involved in the Afrin operation this a fact it's on the ORBAT page for Afrin and as a member of SLF this carries over.
Secondly, Both groups Ahrar al-Sham and the Zenki movement are strong opponents of ISIS and have been involved in numerous clashes against them this hostility doesn't just end.
- The NYT source you added [1] and the one in Arabic [2] date to before the start of the SLF; it doesn't make any sense to include them. The SLF seems to be a localized merger anyways, so whether or not AAS is involved in Afrin is immaterial. David O. Johnson (talk)
