There is a Tâmega Subregion and Tâmega e Sousa - we should explain what the difference is, or if its the same and should be merged. --Yurik (talk) 04:30, 23 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

There is a clear distinction identified between the Tâmega Subregion and Tâmega e Sousa: while the former is a NUTSIII subregion of Europe, the division of Tâmega e Sousa is an Intermunicipal Community of Portugal. Although both are subdvisions of Portugal, one is used for European statistical distinction (the former), while the latter was a recent Portuguese reorganization as part of the Green Paper on administrative reorganization.
