English versions
editWhen including information on the English versions of Daimos, specify which version is being referred to. Kouban 02:48, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Starbirds information
editWhen including the Starbirds character renames in the characters section, please incorporate them into any existing remarks on the names used in the Filipino dub. Additionally, the entry for Nana says "her name was unchanged for Starbirds." Does this mean she was called Nana in Starbirds or Joanna?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Kouban 02:48, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Sure not a problem. I'm going to update the information as soon as possible. Thanks for the notation there. Akarion 3:56, 18 June 2006 (EST)
- The current formatting of the character re: name changes list is kind of ugly. I suggest that, instead of adding extra lines and unnecessary bolding to the list, we either incorporate said name change info into the paragraphs or create a chart elsewhere in the article to denote the name changes, a la the Gatchaman article. Barm
editCan someone please explain why Barmian keeps getting changed to Brahmin, which is an Indian Caste? Kouban 13:37, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- That's because "Brahmin" was the term used in the Filipino dub. The reason why, I do not know. 210.5.121.190 07:55, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
The reason why is to "romanize" most foreign words being used from the original series, thus the word "Brahmin" is almost homonomous to the word "Barmian" in japanese. akarion 16:30, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Additional Info
editAdded trivial info from Daimos in the Filipino version, for General Harris and for Cairo. Noted to add two more characters which are essential to the article. Akarion 22:28, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Regarding deletion of submitted file pics

I dunno what the problem is but wikipedia is a free online ENCYCLOPEDIA right? Hence adding pictures is an obvious added incentive to visitors or browsers as they can see what the actual info/show is about. Unless I'm misinformed and wikipedia the free ENCYCLOPEDIA has been changed to online text infopedia then go ahead delete it. Wikipedia is an online ENCYCLOPEDIA, hence pictures should be in abundance, did anyone ever read an ENCYCLOPEDIA without pictures? Pictures are helpful, not a hindrance. Filipino dub?
editOkay, why is there so much emphasis put on the Filipino dub of the series? I'm guessing it's somehow relevant, but the article never specifies why and it comes across as completely arbitrary. Could someone put an explanation in there somewhere? 89.64.81.221 (talk) 09:25, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
