We should begin to discuss where this page should be moved to in a forum that generates consensus. Since there is so much confusion, I am initiating an WP:RFC.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:38, 24 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Personally, I know it sounds odd, but the two dots seem to be stylistic. iTunes is usually never a reliable source for songs, neither is artist's official websites, as we have all seen, they usually don't use proper capitalization with titles. If we go by the cover, it would actually be "T·H·E", which again, is stylistic. Seeing as how "T.H.E." stands for "The Hardest Ever" and when using abbreviations you separate each letter with a period, I'd think that would be the correct way in showing it. But I'm still not convinced. Status {talkcontribs 11:55, 24 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Tony notified me of this discussion. My move was simply grammatical: there were periods after T and H but not after E. I have no opinion on the proper name of this article, except that it should have consistent punctuation. Nyttend (talk) 13:57, 24 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

RfC comment: regarding the question's history I would recommend the exact spelling from the initial album cover ("T·H·E", if I'm not mistaken) with redirects from all other disputed versions. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 00:14, 8 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

In my opinion, it should be "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)," since will.i.am always liked abbreviations like that when he did some previous stuff with the Peas (example: The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies)). Also, the official music video labels the song as "T.H.E." instead of the variation with two dots in between the letters. -The Wing Dude, Musical Extraordinaire (talk) 03:48, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Music video

edit

Could be something about the content of the video -- he goes from running, to riding a bicycle, to motorcycle, to car, to armored car, to cargo plane, to bullet train, to fighter jet, to rocket (unfortunately, part of the hyperspace journey looks a little like "going to plaid" from Spaceballs )... Though the lyrics seem to refer to "liquid schwartz", so maybe it was intentional! AnonMoos (talk) 17:14, 9 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
I don't suppose anyone knows what the armoured truck thing in the video actually was? 92.39.189.50 (talk) 12:47, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
