Plot

edit

There are a few missing things I think could be added briefly to the plot, like Mark sleeps with veronica, and Simon gets arrested for attempted blackmail, and Diane ends up being the lawyer. Only a brief mention would be needed, they seem more relevant to the plot than Begbie finding Viagra in a fridge which is mentioned. I may alter the plot slightly myself but only watched the movie once, I may get the order of events wrong.  Carlwev  07:01, 6 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Corrected Plot Section

edit

I corrected the plot description. Simon did not tell Bagbie that Renton had returned. He told him a false story about someone finding Renton living in Amsterdam. Bagbie did not learn Renton returned to Scotland until they ran into each other in the bathroom.

Someone reverted this edit and called it an "unhelpful anon edit". How is it "unhelpful"? The current plot description is objective factually inaccurate. Bagbie does not "learn that Renton has returned." Simon lies to him and tells him Renton is in Amsterdam. Why would removing a clear inaccuracy be "unhelpful"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.208.202 (talk) 18:31, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Genre

edit

Film should be considered Black comedy instead of long title with three different genres comedy, crime, and drama when this can easily be simplified by saying black comedy, as that is the point of black comedy, not sure if people know what that is or not. How is this any different from the first film which is stated as black comedy, as it is very famously known as. Not really sure why this was reverted or up for debate. Genres are not decided by the whims of editors, we go by what reliable sources say. ---The Old JacobiteThe '45 14:31, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
This is just stupid; have you even seen the film or know anything about black comedies as this is what this film clearly is. Why on earth would that need to be sourced. Does the exorcist need to be sourced as a supernatural movie or a horror film, because we clearly can't see that throughout the outset can we. Stuv3 (talk) 03:04, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Mind you i can find about 4 sources right on the internet stating the genre Stuv3 (talk) 03:05, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
I don't see any sources classifying the film as crime, comedy or drama. Stuv3 (talk) 03:11, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
I agree, but more importantly the first film is labelled as a black comedy. -- 109.79.89.131 (talk) 00:12, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
