As far as I can tell many sources give the name of the protein "Transmembrane protein 19" before using the acronym. If that's the case, it's likely that the name is more wp:RECOGNIZABLE than the acronym. WP:CONCISE is not the only determiner of article titles and in many cases it's not the right decision to use an acronym, see WP:ACROTITLE. Any thoughts Eniemeyerm ?
