The result of the move request was: no consensus. Participants doubted that the proposed title was the WP:COMMONNAME; however, despite their skepticism they generally stopped short of explicitly opposing, leading me to find no consensus rather than a consensus not to move. TV Osaka → Television Osaka – Official company name VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 08:30, 16 August 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Waqar💬 16:16, 23 August 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. BilledMammal (talk) 07:36, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
- Skeptical: Officialness is not so relevant in Wikipedia article title policies and guidelines – see WP:OFFICIALNAME and WP:Independent reliable sources. Also, the the website is at tv-osaka.co.jp and the abbreviation is TVO – both of which use "TV". The suggested title is less WP:CONCISE. — BarrelProof (talk) 21:55, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- Comment, we don't use WP:OFFICIALNAMES just because. Do sources use the full name, or do they shorten it to the current or other ways? We follow what sources use most. DankJae 09:47, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
