edittagged with cleanup. lots of confusing text, e.g. "last year" isn't always clear what year is being referred to. some NPOV issues too, e.g. 'an amazing mix', 'As if this wasn’t enough', etc. Also generally badly wpoopritten in places, such as 'T moved to its now spiritual home', 'Radiohead thanked us', "best line-up’s". The whole 'facts and figures' section is lacking any sources (it appears to have been written by T in the Park's own PR team). --duncan 23:12, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Tidied up a lot of text, removed stuff that wasn't NPOV, facts repeated elsewhere in the article, etc. --duncan 07:09, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Can this article still be considered a stub? It appears to be of substantial length and quality to justify removing that status. Knaw 18:45, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
"T in the Park was the first UK festival to sell some limited amount of tickets for the following year when that year's festival had finished"
That's incorrect, Download Festival 2005, which was held a month before T in the park, sold an allocation of tickets for the 2006 when the 2005 festival finished. --BenjMartin 15:27, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Personal Opinion
editThere appears to be a somewhat scathing report of what fans were met with upon arrival at the site in the '2007' section. - FullyClothedMike —Preceding unsigned comment added by FullyClothedMike (talk • contribs) 21:39, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Fake 2009 site
editThere is this fake site based in Hungary, according to an e-mail I've received from the real one (as I expect have many others). Probably not important enough to be included but it might deter anyone from buying tickets... --➨Candlewicke :) Sign/Talk 19:22, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Anit social beaver- Why this keep getting taken out every time for the past five years...
editIt has been said that T in the Park is populated by anti-social Scots known as "neds";[1] a Scotland on Sunday reporter dubbed the festival as the country's "premier gathering of neds".[2] Conversely, Andrew Eaton in The Scotsman acknowledged that the event is "not sensible, or polite, or restrained", but condemned "the many snooty remarks you often hear about it being a festival for drunken neds".[1] Organiser Geoff Ellis has nevertheless stated that "neds are not welcome" at T in the Park.[3] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazyseiko (talk • contribs) 14:37, 9 July 2016

Uh, I have nothing to do with "The abominable Wiki troll". I am simply adding back referenced text that is supported by broadsheet papers. 185.54.163.126 (talk) 14:59, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
- It's likely a cover-up. While working at DF, I was appalled at the lengths the TITP organisers went to, to ensure nobody knows the truth about what goes on up there. 300,000 drunken/drugged-up Glaswegians, unpoliced, in a field, does not make for the tiny handful of crimes that the Scottish public is clued in on every year... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7D:6A44:4600:1D79:AE3F:BE56:4DFF (talk) 16:26, 12 July 2016 (UTC)

TAWT has this weird obsession with neds/hooligans spanning many years. I've been trying to remove the section but he won't let me. Sro23 (talk) 23:47, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Okay Sro, I'm an awful troll and all that, but ultimately I'm a regular person with basic human empathy. This disgrace of a "festival" has to be exposed. 172.110.215.206 (talk) 23:49, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

- What I said is in line with WP:TRUTHMATTERS. The ned concentration at TITP is well documented. 172.110.215.206 (talk) 23:53, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- The tawt obsession is not solely focused on neds, although it is important. These diffs show that the history section is almost entirely a constructive addition: [1], [2], [3], [4], perhaps this should be reverted back to before in line with WP:BLOCKEVASION.94.197.120.65 (talk) 00:00, 11 May 2017 (UTC)

Sro23's dedication to protecting TITP is troubling, and very reminiscent of the behaviour displayed by McGeddon. I suspect both are employed by the TITP organisers. No reasonable human could endorse rape and murder like these guys do. 172.110.215.201 (talk) 00:42, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
Given that strong sources such as BBC, Scotsman, Herald are regularly using Ned in their articles, I struggle to see what could be not WP:NPOV. Users such as Crazyseiko who are Scottish clearly get it, but if I was from outside the UK and hoping to see my favourite band at T, I'd like to know about the festivals dark history before wasting £300. 94.197.120.65 (talk) 00:52, 11 May 2017 (UTC)

Eh?
edit"The 2017 event was a success with a follow-up for 2018 in the pipeline, meaning that T in the Park is "not looking likely" for 2018" This sentence makes no sense whatsoever.
