Volcano Island
editI've added a link to Volcano Island, although the article with that name refers to the group of Bonin Islands near Japan. I don't believe Volcano Island (Philippines) belongs to this group of islands, as it is in fact an island in Taal Lake on an island of the Philippines. Therefore, I believe the redirect from Volcano Island (Philippines) should point to the article Taal Volcano instead. Accordingly, I've created the article Taal Island and redirected it to that article. Please modify if this isn't correct. —Stimpy 11:10, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- I changed Volcano Island (Philippines) to redirect to Taal Volcano, it should not have been pointing to the Bonin Islands. --Seattle Skier (talk) 08:22, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

It's wrong, and it's right, and it's amusing.
editThe top of the article reads: "Not to be confused with Lake Taal." But of course, the link for Lake Taal links back to Taal Lake, because Lake Taal does not have its own independent article. All is as it should be, and yet I can't help feeling there's got to be a more graceful way to do it. :) Getheren (talk) 04:41, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
Larger Island
editThere is a larger island-within-an-island-within-an-island (Victoria Island) in the Canadian arctic.

You can see it on Google Earth. It seems that the two lakes, and the two smaller islands, have no official names. 24.108.58.1 (talk) 04:06, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
- If you're referring to Taal Lake, Philippines which is the topic for this article, that large island in the middle of the lake is called Volcano Island or Taal Volacano itself. The lake's two smaller islands are called Napayan and Bubuin and they are located east of Volcano Island close to Talisay. --RioHondo (talk) 05:10, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
