editidemand to know why my careful contribution dated 17:18, 16 April 2008 was removed, when it was, in essence completely true! and where i allowed my poetic license to take the better of me, it was only to prove a point. Such as why the heck is the school so proud of being the place that educated Dick from Dick and Dom?! Surely that should be yet another (true) thing for them to prevent being written on this page in case it "gave the wrong impression", such as the infamous case of Mr. Bowes Sings The Yop Song (viewable here).
Btw I personally know Kickass99, he's a wanker and should be instantly expelled for such insubordination to the school.

Answer: Sorry, your editing was not verifiable and therefore not in keeping with the wiki approach. The reference to Richard McCourt is there partly because he's well-known to some of the pupils who may see the Wiki entry; partly because they may have the feeling that he is a success (which is true by some measures, he probably gets paid more than I do for less work, for example) and partly because any list of alumni needs balance.
And it's the antivandalbot that restores edits back to (approximately) the entry I wrote, not me.
I shall excuse the awful typing of your remark this time, perhaps you wrote your comment in a hurry. And I do know I shouldn't start a sentence with a conjunction, like this one. And this.
Agree about kickass99.

editdo you think there is any way we could work this into the article?
Separation of Recent and Historical Information
edit"In December 2007 the school obtained a status in Arts, ... Members of successful bands such as Def Leppard attended the school" The Def Leppard guys were at the school more than thirty years before the date at the start of the sentence (A few years before I was there). Shouldn't there be a clearer separation between the current and recent activity and status of the school and its history ? It was a completely different building, with almost completely different staff, working under a completely different administrative structure (national and local) when they were there (likewise most of the other alumni listed, though they are listed separately and not mixed in with the current and recent activity).
