I am going to remove the section referring to the poisoning of Aboriginals by white settlers. I cannot at this time find any sources to back this up, and furthermore when using several search strings on Google, it links only back to this article. As this is a claim amounting to deliberate genocide, I feel it should be immediately removed until somebody can provide a reliable source for this information. Additionally, the pre-European history of the town does suit an encyclopedia the Burra Burra peoples, a warlike tribe who often clashed with neighbouring tribes and never lost a fight. Although no major clashes with the Europeans seem to have been recorded, nor tales of collaboration with them, their last great gathering or corroboree seems to have been in the 1830s after which they are not recorded by European history. Accordingly, they would have been pushed further west to less fertile plains after the disease brought by the Europeans. and should be re-written and suitably referenced Dfadden (talk) 02:15, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Needs more sources.--Grahamec 12:49, 5 February 2007 (UTC) The winter photos are not applicable - These are shots from rare storms that lay a blanket of snow on the region, and not the atypical winter scenes that you normally see during Winter in Taralga, which is NO SNOW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TUALMASOK (talkcontribs) 02:09, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
