It should be noted that the nickname "Black Drain" does not refer to the entire river, but only to that section downstream from the Tasman Pulp and Paper Mill. Until this point the river is quite clean, and the water clear in most parts (203.100.215.176 (talk) 14:33, 22 June 2008 (UTC)).Reply
