2011 Detention by the Bahraini authorities
editAccording to informal unreferenced reports, as of June Tareq Al-Farsani has remained in detention since his arrest on 16 April, as far as is known without having been charged. Any more concrete referenced information should be used to update the article. Opbeith (talk) 16:37, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
A Twitter message sent by Nabeel Rajab of Bahrain Center for Human Rights BCHR [1] reports that Tareq Al-Farsani's family have had no news of his fate from the time of his arrest and are afraid he may have been tortured. Nabeel Rajab is a reliable enough source to use this information in the article. Opbeith (talk) 18:46, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
