Requested move
editTascón List → Tascon List — I understand that according to wikipedia policy, the page name should be in Latin characters without diacritical marks.Voui (talk) 20:24, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Bad move, I understand that the page Tascon List must be deleted first.Voui (talk) 20:36, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Name of the page
editI understand that wikipedia policy is to name pages without diacritical marks. So this page should be moved to Tascon List. Any view on that? Voui (talk) 20:44, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- There is no such policy. JRSP (talk) 21:01, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- If there is not an established English usage, follow the conventions of the language in which the subject is most often talked about, so we should use "Tascón" (and "Cedeño", by the way). Please check WP:Naming_conventions_(use_English)#No_established_usage. On the other hand, if there is an established English usage, we follow this usage, so we say "Panama" and not "Panamá" JRSP (talk) 21:45, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
