Is it really necessary to list every single model variation? It certainly doesn't seem helpful or useful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.108.208.207 (talk) 03:52, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Design features reads like a promotional ad

edit

The current version of the Design features section runs through the various features like they are from a trade brochure, mostly citing the Taurus website. It strikes me that this is not terribly encyclopedic, and the fact that the gun was recalled due to firing when dropped seems to undermine the strength of the heavy emphasis on features which prevent misfiring when dropped. --TeaDrinker (talk) 01:58, 20 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

2013 recall info

edit

There was information in the article about 90,000 PT 24/7 handguns being recalled, with a link leading to The Firearm Blog. Someone replaced this with very unprofessionally typed claims that the info was false and didn't provide any links, so I removed it. Could someone more knowledgeable with sources find out if this information is accurate? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grimwol (talkcontribs) 16:25, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Taurus PT24/7 or Taurus 24/7

edit

The current title, "Taurus PT 24/7", with a space, is incorrect, despite being commonly used in secondary sources. However, Taurus' website identifies it as both "PT24/7" and "24/7".[1] I believe "PT24/7" is the more correct of the two, but thought it better to ask.

Also, is there any good reason for the Taurus PT24/7 G2 Pistol page? Because I'm sure all the info can be covered here. Thanks. RadiculousJ (talk) 18:56, 8 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Discontinuation

edit

Looking at the webpages, it appears this firearm has been discontinued. Anyone willing to confirm this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.167.55.127 (talk) 00:07, 3 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Companies often announce new products, but they're less likely to announce the discontinuation of old ones. Unlike most companies, Taurus has a list of discontinued items.[2] So I added that info. Thanks for pointing it out. Felsic2 (talk) 00:30, 4 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
