• "The incident received much media attention and resulted in many Internet memes" - you should mention that Kayne's interference caused a lot of controversy too

@FrB.TG: I've read through the article twice and have decided that I'm going to pass this outright, it's in brilliant shape. The lead summarises the article, the prose is very smooth and well written and the references are all OK. I've picked up a few minor issues but this article meets the GA criteria regardless.
