I have restored the 'redirect' line within the RfD template, as the template requires its inclusion for the RfD header to be properly presented. This can be removed once the template is also removed following the very likely conclusion that the page remains as a disambiguation page.--Jeffro77 (talk) 22:08, 21 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
I have removed it as this is a valid dab page, so the cause is with imperfect use of RfD for what's become a valid dab page during normal editing while at RfD. Per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC a WP:RM is typical and a better venue, and a RfD as you can see from the template message is imperfect. As it says in the template message, this can be ignored with a soft redirect, so we can ignore it here for a dab. What's important is to convince others of a primary topic, unless that happens this stays and until/if then this dab needs to serve its sole purpose - navigating readers to articles. Don't remove it again until the RfD template is removed. It is required for the RfD banner template to display correctly. It doesn't actually cause the page to redirect.--Jeffro77 (talk) 08:11, 22 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
It should be obvious I'm aware it doesn't redirect the page. That's irrelevant. Even the RfD html comment explains that it can be edited (the comment that your edit [1] has messed up BTW). What is relevant is holding on and persisting with pointless bureaucracy per WP:BURO / WP:SNOW. I note you haven't replied to the fact this error explicitly states that it can be ignored with soft redirects, which is applicable here where editors have improved beyond a redirect. It's not important either way, so I shall leave now that the real work of cleaning the dab is done, and this will all be removed as pointless buro. I note that your attempt to remove the "(disambiguation)" redirect pointing here was denied, highlighting this is a valid dab now, not a redirect. Widefox; talk09:09, 22 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
