Three or so lines of summary at the top and a use of English as the main language with the Maori word parenthetically (instead of vice versa) would help immensely. I'm not sure who flagged the article so severely, I plead innocent, but I certainly know what they're going on about... That said, it's a brilliant piece — just needing a little adaptation.
