The data is old.
editThe teapluckers now earn around 450-500 rupees a day. Not around 120-160 rupees per day wage as quoted in the article. There's ongoing strike (2016 October 16) to get it up as high as 1000 rupees per day even though the authorities agreed to raised it to 750 rupees per day.
