Conflicting information on who the song is about?
editOn Taylor's wiki page, it says:
The second single from the Taylor Swift album, "Teardrops On My Guitar", was released February 24, 2007. The song was inspired by a true event during her time in high school in which she liked a boy named "Drew Hardwick". He only saw Swift as a friend and a go-to person for advice about his relationship with his girlfriend. She noted she heard "through the grapevine" that Drew is well aware the song was written about him.[12]
On this page:
In a behind-the-scenes video, Taylor discusses that the song was written about a boy she met at a Pittsburgh Steelers football game. To this day she wishes he would have asked for her number. In another clip of a different video on her bus, Taylor reveals the boy does know it's about him and that he and the girlfriend are still together.[2] His name is Mike.

Fair use rationale for Image:TOMG.JPG
editImage:TOMG.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Orphaned references in Teardrops on My Guitar
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Teardrops on My Guitar's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Ogg sample
editThe article really needs an ogg sample of the song for the "Composition" section. If you can, please add it. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 03:25, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Lead
edit- Perhaps rename Background and inspiration.
- Most Taylor Swift song articles like Tim McGraw (song), Our Song (song), White Horse (song) and so on just have it as "Background". I think it'd be best to keep them cohesive. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 18:06, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
