delete beacon information

edit

I suggest deleting the detailed information about the beacon formats-- useful when amateur radio operators might have wanted to listen to or contact the satellite, but of little interest since the satellite has reentered. Geoffrey.landis (talk) 21:09, 12 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

-In the absence of any comments to the contrary, I deleted the detailed information on packet format. Geoffrey.landis (talk) 18:37, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia page has been altered in confused manner

edit

This page was originally created for TechEdSat-1, and the details are specific only to TechEdSat-1, yet certain mentions of the later generation spacecraft in the TechEdSat family are included in the article, which confuses the reader. For example, TechEdSat-1 was not developed by Idaho State University, while later missions were. Furthermore, TechEdSat-1 was deployed by the JSSOD as mentioned in this article, but later TechEdSat satellites were deployed by NanoRacks cubesat dispensers. I suggest that this information be more clearly laid out, or that the individual spacecraft be divided into individual wiki articles.

I have deleted the info card, and moved all information from it into the article itself. I have started the process of creating sections of the article for each individual satellite. It may be useful to separate these sections into dedicated articles at some point in the future. TES spacecraft after TES-1 were developed in part by the University of Idaho, not Idaho State University. Reedcspurling (talk) 00:08, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
