Brookside connection
editThe article suggests that Ted Robbins has recently appeared in Brookside but Brookside was cancelled in 2003 which isn't really recent. Perhaps the reference to Brookside should be removed. 194.78.217.240 (talk) 13:12, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- A quick Google suggests that he appeared at least twice. This detailed fan page states that he appeared as characters Ted Moran and (earlier, 1982?) Bob Bishop. The link to Brookside is therefore correct, although the word 'recently' is not appropriate in an encyclopedia.
- It is difficult tracking down this info. It is possible that part of this text is a copy-vio from somewhere - there are a striking number of references to Ted Robbins and the phrase "universally hated". How many of these are Wikipedia mirrors is unclear.
- Having never had the misfortune to watch Brookside, I cannot comment further about his work on the series.

Liverpool, Lancashire?!?!
edit"Robbins was born in Liverpool, Lancashire."
Liverpool is in Merseyside... this article needs a serious tidy-up. Can someone mark it so? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.138.242 (talk) 18:06, 17 July 2009 (UTC) Liverpool was in Lancashire in 1956!!!!90.204.21.73 (talk) 19:56, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Back in the day, there was no Merseyside or Greater Manchester, we were all from Lancs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.113.85.120 (talk) 21:43, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

Television
editTed definitely appeared in sketches in Victoria Wood's sketch shows that aren't listed in his television appearances. If anyone felt like researching that it would be a worthy addition to the entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.113.85.120 (talk) 21:42, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
