editTegenaria atrica has its own page. Tegenaria duellica redirects to Giant house spider, which claims to the same spider as T. atrica, but also reasignes it to the genus Eratigena (which doesn't have its own article). The change in classification is referenced to a paper that I can't read without subscription. Is this a generally accepted reclassification? In any case, the main Tegenaria article needs to either say that T. atrica and T. duellica have been reasigned to E. atrica, or that such a change has been proposed. (And their own articles updated or merged accordingly). Iapetus (talk) 12:41, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- Addendum: according to this site:
- Tegenaria agrestis is now called Eratigena agrestis
- Tegenaria duellica/gigantea, T. saeva, and T. atrica are all synonymized under E. atrica
- Malthonica pagana moved back to Tegenaria Iapetus (talk) 12:53, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
