editThe reference for completion of their 3rd LP is on their MySpace blog, but it's blocked by the spam filter. Xenonym (talk) 07:22, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Lindsay Anderson isn't part of the group
editShe only appears on 3 songs on "Map of What is Effortless". Damon Aaron also does vocals on 3 songs from this album so he's just as much a member of the group as Lindsay. Alternatively, I just saw TTA a few weeks ago and Joshua Eustis was actually doing a lot of the vocals now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.79.95.148 (talk) 18:15, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Name
editWhere did they get their name from? Or did they just make it up?
- Tel Aviv is a city in Isarel, other than that I have no idea.Xenonym (talk) 07:22, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Lindsay Anderson
editThe link to Lindsay Anderson links to a british TV personality, not the member of L'Altra. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.26.65.206 (talk) 19:28, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
New photo?
editTo those who have worked on the TTA wiki page: would it be time to replace the existing photo with the one Josh has been using for quite some time now? I can possibly contact him and receive rights to use the image. If it is not felt that this is necessary, then retention of the previous one is fine although outdated.
- Every single profile he maintains for Telefon Tel Aviv, whether featuring that black and white one, the really saturated visible tattoo one, or a completely different one has a photo with only Josh pictured as it is still an ongoing project (compared to something like Coil, where both John and Peter are pictured as the band ceased to exist when one died) - it shouldn't have Charles in it.
- So I say yes, that's a good idea. Josh can be reached easily on Twitter (@telefontelaviv) where he is regularly active and I'm sure he'd grant usage of the current representative project photo on the Wikipedia page. Swim Jonse (talk) 17:44, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
