Prefix for mobile phone numbers
editThe article states that mobile phone numbers have 5 as a prefix. However, I remember activating a D-AMPS phone in Varadero in 2004 (as a foreigner, with no restrictions on international calls) and getting a number with a Havana City area code (7). Thus there seems to be, or at least have been, some variation. --Michael-stanton (talk) 11:19, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
- And I recall someone with a cellphone with a Ciego de Avila code. But I think they have all gone and all cellphones are now area code 5. -- Beardo (talk) 01:19, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
