This entry reads like company promotional material; needs to be revised to ensure a more sober, neutral, voice.

Edits made to page

Edits have been made to the page to move it more towards a neutral point of view. Notashortstory 14:30, 21 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Am considering writing up a paragraph or two about the availability of manuals and support for older products such as the T-Coder line. Probably not going to be too positive for Tellabs unless I can find out how to get such information in a user friendly manner. And yes, the Tellabs page does appear to be extravagant self promotion.

Fair use rationale for Image:Tellabs logo.gif

edit

Image:Tellabs logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:59, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Entry needs updating

edit

Much of this information is out of date and the page definitely could use an update. A lot of information is available at http://www.tellabs.com, including information on new products and services and the company's recent acquisition of WiChorus. Updated financial information is available in the 2009 annual report at: http://www.tellabs.com/investors/annual/2009/. Anyone willing to take this one on? This entry still reads like a press release. Is this one of the sockpuppet entries? I learned about the company in a discussion which mentioned a 2007 Supreme Court, which isn't mentioned here despite many edits which supposedly tidy up the entry.Jweaver28 (talk) 03:27, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Request for Tellabs

edit

Hey, I'm working with Tellabs. They've noticed some inaccuracies on this page, and are wanting to fix it - I have a full revision on a sandbox page. The reason they are wanting to have this change done is accuracy: currently, the article includes information that isn't from Tellabs at all, but from Coriant, a company that was spun off from Tellabs in 2014. This needs to be properly reflected in the article. If you have any issues with this proposed edit, please let me know. Toa Nidhiki05 13:01, 6 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
