editWhile Wikipedia Links Typhoon 2001 and Tsunami 2010 to Tempest 3000, the authors link the games (both by name and technically) to Tempest 2000. Yura87 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:57, 24 March 2011 (UTC).
Yiff!
editMinter is well known for his animal related fandom, Llamasoft, Flossie the sheep, Attack of the Mutant Camels, etc, etc.
Yiff, in this context - especially given the animal related antics also seen in T2K mean that this is not an out-of context insertion, and a link should be left in to explain the use of the term.
Let's also note that "Yiff" has been in the article - and linked - for many a moon - it is the removal, of the link that is being contested, not the insertion. As per BRD, it should stay in situ while discussed. Chaheel Riens (talk) 11:53, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- Additional: If the term really does have no context connecting it to T2K, then it's even more important to link it so casual readers know the meaning. Chaheel Riens (talk) 12:39, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- Additional to the additional - I've asked that you discuss your changes. Please do so. I've outlined the reasons for inclusion above - Yak has a fondness for ruminants, and there is no reason not to link to the term to explain what it means when the context is clear - it refers to furry creatures. Yak refers to Yiffing here[1] in an interview, and again here.[2]
