This entire article is written like a school essay on temporary tattoos. It needs some serious work to match the style of an encyclopedia. At the very least, it needs some citations and removal of all the how-to stuff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mercury1964 (talkcontribs) 14:09, 9 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Banana Pen Tattoos

edit

Really?? Where's the source? This seems like original research, as well as self promotion. Besides this Wikipedia page and other pages that source this page, Lennie Mace and his "banana pen tattoos" aren't mentioned anywhere else on the internet. I'm deleting this area unless someone can prove why it deserves to be here.173.164.207.26 (talk) 03:02, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

*no idea how this "ballpoint banana" topic came about; anyone with the know-how to erase that link should go ahead and delete it altogether, i don't even understand how it comes up on "ballpoint..." searches; obvious vandalism! But artist Lennie Mace and his ballpoint tattoos are now noted on Wikipedia (and on Japanese web-searches particularly). He did the temp-tats for the Denzel movie "Training Day" and others but there are no viable sources, YET.Penwatchdog (talk) 15:29, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sticker tattoos

edit

Aren't sticker tattoos actually the same as temporary transfer tattoos discussed earlier? Superm401 - Talk 03:50, 7 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

as impetigo and ring worm. Do not share wet towels to apply multiple tattoos to more than one person. this is a direct quote from my childs pediatritian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feonad (talkcontribs) 20:37, 19 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can you find a reliable source? "My doctor said so" is not verifiable. tedder (talk) 20:49, 19 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Merge

edit

Here is why I think this article should be merged with tattoo:

  • Temporary tattoos are, to my knowledge, intended as alternatives to real tattoos, but not necessarily body painting.
  • This article suffers from multiple issues. To be specific, it fails WP:TONE and WP:NOTHOWTO.
  • Decals and henna are mentioned here as well as in the main tattoo article, so these two pages are already connected to each other in some way or the other.

Let me know your thoughts on this issue. Thanks! - Fangusu (talk) 23:33, 18 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

It sounds like a good idea to me, for the reasons you've stated. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 00:43, 21 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
