'Language-independent starmaps?'
editThe claim that 'Terra' is 'the standard used to mark Earth on language-independent starmaps' not only has no reference cited, it's also patently absurd. To the best of my knowledge there is no such thing as a 'language-independent starmap' in the first place (a Google search for that term turns up virtually nothing but this very page, and other pages that quote from it), and a STARmap wouldn't show the planets of our solar system anyway. I propose removing this line. FireHorse (talk) 14:15, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- The entry about the use of terra in science fiction is obviously not approriate for a disambiguation page (see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages)), but it contains useful information. I will eventually reduce the entry to a one-line description, but I'd like to give notice here beforehand. Terra (science fiction) could be created fairly quickly and could probably be cited fairly easily if someone wants to take a crack at it.--Hraefen Talk 22:17, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Kingdom Hearts
editRather than continue the edit war, I propose letting the link to KH stand, since the Terra character is notable enough to be mentioned in List of Kingdom Hearts characters. --Scaletail 20:49, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
One thing I have founbd that I have not been to research this name in a a year or two and what used to be a very informative page is now NOT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.215.28.137 (talk) 21:25, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
