Sweeney, Chase and SNL
editI removed (temporarily, at least) the information that Chevy Chase harrassed Terry Sweeney - we don't have supporting documentation or a citation for it. I'm going to see if I can find one, and if anyone has confirmation of this (ie, it's in a book about SNL), please add the citation. NickBurns 21:42, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Here's a possible citation for that factoid: http://www.zimbio.com/portal/Infamous+moments+in+Saturday+Night+Live+history/notes/1 It was dugg today. Nick.wiebe 15:03, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Is it necessary to state he is a "homosexual" writer when many other pages simply discuss it within the page?
Was Terry Sweeney really born in 1960 and graduated from Middlebury in 1973? Please check these dates. 209.204.100.79 (talk) 03:40, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
Birthdate
editThere seems to be some conflict about Sweeney's birthdate in different sources; his IMDb profile says he was born in 1960, but the People magazine article that's cited for some content in the article says that he was 35 years old in 1986 — which would put his birthdate as 1950 instead. Meanwhile, even our article gives the 1950 date in body text, but categorizes him in Category:1960 births instead of Category:1950 births. Although I realize that 1950 is more likely correct, because 1960 would have him graduating college at the age of 13 if the year we give for that milestone is accurate, I'm going to change the category to "year of birth uncertain" and would ask that it not be changed back until we can locate better confirmation one way or the other.
