Test harness
editIn response to the suggestion that this article be moved/merged to Test Harness: Test Bench has meaning in the context of Electronics Design Automation (EDA) Open Verification Methodology (OVM) and in that context "Test Harness" is not as applicable. Granted this article does have anything on EDA OVM - would be good if it did. The following whitepaper provide more information in this regard: http://www.ovmworld.org/white_papers.php
Bench test
editThe term "bench test" I believe is far more common, used to describe testing of hardware in a controlled state or environment. See here for WP uses of the term; (also it just intuitively sounds more grammatically sensible anyway). Would "bench test" have anything to do with this article or should it be given its own page? Just wondering out loud after stumbling onto this article, reverting a vandalism attack. --RacerX11 Talk to meStalk me 05:35, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
