Are we sure about some details?

The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) doesn't have a listing for "Rayburn Country" nor "Beans Community", which is probably why there aren't articles for them. There is a listing for "Beans" in Jasper County though (GNIS ID# 2034563), so it might be an unincorporated place that needs an article created or a redirect to another article. (In Michigan, many UCs are redirected to the appropriate township if there isn't enough to write an article on them, but since Texas doesn't have townships like we do...) If something isn't listed in GNIS, it's usually not recognized as a place in the US, nor notable enough to have an article. Imzadi 1979  08:22, 21 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you google "Rayburn County", the results you come up with are for a large community located on the southeastern edge of the Sam Rayburn Reservoir, in the approximate location of where Rayburn Country listed by the TxDOT. Although, I do think you're right about Beans Community, and I plan to change that. - Awardgive, the editor with the msitaken name. 14:03, 21 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Texas Handbook article on "Beans Place". Texas Handbook article on "Sam Rayburn, Texas", with the centerpiece of "Rayburn Country". 25or6to4 (talk) 11:34, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Beans now has an article. I also found the community of Ebenezer, which should also be mentioned in the route description. While trying (and failing) to find the coordinates for Beans, though, I realized something; there's no source for the exact route of RE 255 Spur in the article. The highway designation file doesn't give a route, and none of the maps are old enough to have the route marked on them. Since we don't have coordinates for Beans Community, "a spur to Beans Community" doesn't narrow it down, especially since I found a county highway map that puts Beans on the opposite side of RE 255 from the Handbook of Texas' description.
