Party name
editI hope that's a typo, but it's probably not. --Paul_012 (talk) 11:49, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
I've changed the article's name to the party's official name. baconbits (talk) 22:49, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

Thai Raksa Chart Party → Thai Save the Nation Party – This party's English name changed "Thai Raksa Chart" into "Thai Save the Nation", and recently it also has been called as "Thai Save the Nation" on news. #1. Thanks. Garam (talk) 16:06, 11 February 2019 (UTC)--Relisting. Warm Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 17:37, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
- Against: It's not a name change; "Thai Save the Nation" is a translation of "Thai Raksa Chart". But all of the available English sources (even those in the link provided by the OP) only refer to the party as "Thai Raksa Chart". --Miwako Sato (talk) 08:32, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Miwako Sato: I think, in this case, it means change from "Thai romanization" to "English". And recently this English name is also used by the press. --Garam (talk) 15:34, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, for now. Where the English version of the name appears in sources, it's in parentheses secondary to the Thai name, e.g. "Thai Raksa Chart (Thai Save the Nation)". In this case, using the primary name, Thai Raksa Chart, would actually be more in line with WP:USEENGLISH. --Paul_012 (talk) 18:10, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
- Support per WP:USEENGLISH. Rreagan007 (talk) 21:58, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose: As someone who supported the name change in the past, I've since come to the other side of the argument. The official English name is Thai Save the Nation and is abbreviated TSN, however, most English press have since adopted the Thai name. The Thai name is the more common name and we should use that, as long as we make it obvious that TSN is the actual English name, just more obscure. baconbits (talk) 23:48, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
