Merger proposal
editTharwa Primary School no longer exists. It is not Notable enough to have its own article. It was proposed for deletion at Talk:Tharwa_Primary_School on 1 October 2007. Yours sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 05:39, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Note that the site still exists (it remains a significant cultural and historical landmark in the area), the pre-school still operates, and the site is used for community purposes. -- Jtneill - Talk 23:52, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose once notable always notable, we don't delete articles on defunct items, so if it was notable when open it is still notable now. Notable means that others have written about it, and they still have written even though time has passed. I saw a newspaper front page article on the topic only a couple of weeks ago, it is obviously still worth keeping anr article, if not a school. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:48, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
